We have been in business since 2008.
What does it cost to use Happyhoneymoons.ca honeymoon registry service?
Absolutely nothing for all services to the couple which include your personalized webpage and registry .
What does it cost my guests?
Your guests would pay a small charge for service fees and administrative fees associated with their gift purchase. This is usually less than what they would pay on the tax portion if purchasing a gift at a store.
Can you show me an example transaction?
Here is an example transaction.
You put a $100 gift on your registry:
Example: candlelight dinner on the beach, $100
A guest that chooses this purchase, when they go to pay through Paypal, they will be charged $109.
The $100 gift goes into your honeymoon account.
The $9 goes to our company for administration and services associated with the purchase.
It's that easy and inexpensive for your guests!
What is your cancellation policy?
If your wedding is cancelled then all gift purchases, less service and administrative fees, will be sent back to your guests and your account will be closed.
How do I know myself and my guests can trust happyhoneymoons.ca?
All Payments are done through Paypal, the leading internet secure payment company.
All transactions are done on credit cards and are traceable.
We are a business that is proudly Canadian and want to be known as a great Canadian company so customer security and satisfaction is our mandate.
By emailing us at customerservice@happyhoneymoon.ca we will email you back or give you a telephone call within 48 business hours.
Where can I register?
Go to the couples section on our homepage and follow along the instructions. Make up your registry or use one of our pre-designed packages. Remember, We do not book your honeymoon, we are not a travel agency. You book wherever you want and we help you collect money to pay for it!
When does happyhoneymoons.ca give me my money from my registry?
Happyhoneymoons.ca will pay you 5 days after your wedding date. If you receive any payments in your registry after this date, happyhoneymoons.ca will send you one final cheque 4 weeks after your wedding date at which time the account will be closed.
Why do I have to wait 5 days after the wedding for payment?
It is simply for you and your guest's security. There is a 5 day processing time for final transactions. You will always be able to view your account balance and see how much money you have received in your account.
How much access do I have to my account?
You have 24hr/7 day a week access to your account. You can always check on your registry and even make changes to it. You will not be able to access the money but will be able to see how many gifts you have accumulated in your registry.
How do I know who bought me which gift?
An email will be sent to you every time someone has made a gift purchase for you.
How much should I ask for in my registry?
You should ask for gifts in all ranges in prices and quantities (see registry etiquitte) because then all people will feel like they can help and share in your big day.
How do my guests know that I have a registry and wedding website?
We provide you with a registry notification insert or you can add a little note inside your wedding invitations that can have your webpage, registry and rsvp all at happyhoneymoons.ca. Also at the site they can enter either last name from the couple's section at our own search engine and it will take guests directly to the couples web page.
